Joseph Henry Wythe was a student of Bruce Goff at the University of Oklahoma, and an admirer of Frank Lloyd Wright. Wythe's architectural practice is known as Alternative Architecture, a name to indicate fine architecture as an alternative to the mediocre designs so prevalent in our culture. In addition, the name also indicates an awareness of and willingness to use, where appropriate, emerging technologies, even developing new ideas as necessary.

Boden Design Mountain Architecture has been encouraging sustainable healthy building design and development for the past 10 years.
