Dr. Tom Gorman is an associate professor at the University of Idaho and a licensed engineer. His research has focused on improving the efficient use of wood in construction, including utilization of small diameter trees for engineered products or direct application. Other areas of expertise include recycled building components, log home engineering and energy efficiency, and seminars and workshops offered to architects, engineers and woodworkers.
