The New Mexico Sustainable Energy Campaign (SEC) is a network of sustainable energy advocates, environmental and public policy groups, state policy makers, and people of faith, working for a new energy vision for New Mexico - moving away, as quickly as possible, from current wasteful energy policies and toward a sustainable and renewable energy future. Climate Stewardship is an ethical and moral imperative shared by all. Founded in 1982, the Rocky Mountain Association of Environmental Professionals (RMAEP) became affiliated with the National Association of Environmental Professionals (NAEP), founded in 1975. RMAEP is a non-profit professional society of members in eight western states: Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah and Wyoming. Their goal is to encourage professional development through meetings, conferences and other activities sponsored by the Association. Their policy is to promote advancement in scientific, interdisciplinary, environmental education through the formation and operation of a non-political, multidisciplinary society. You can join RMAEP to meet other environmental professionals and learn about the diversity of the growing environmental disciplines.

Wasatch Community Gardens is a community-based, non-profit organization serving Salt Lake City's inner-city neighborhoods since 1989. Wasatch Community Gardens cultivates individual growth and neighborhood unity through community gardens and youth gardening education. In their Youth Gardening Program, inner-city young people grow, sell and donate organic produce, learning responsibility, commitment and cooperation.
